Rendered Speculation: Audi R10 (facelift)

A while back we published the first speculative rendering by student designer Marouane Bembli of an Audi R10 production supercar.
Now, the 24 year-old artist has sent us a facelifted update of that R10 rendering.
These photos here show a supercar that sits above the R8 in the Audi lineup. Bembli envisions it as a lightweight supercar of around 1,200 kg (2,645 lbs) with a V10 engine of unspecified output.
It does make a good competitor to the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4, now doesn't it? Looks-wise, at least.
Bembli is currently doing a 1 year Master's program in Transportation Design (with Audi and Lamborghini) at the Scuola Politecnica di Design in Milan, Italy.
The young man just may have a future as a car design. We wish him well.
