Volkswagen Golf24 testing on the Nürburgring
Here are some of the first shots of the Volkswagen Golf24 endurance racer out on the Nordschleife track at the Nürburgring, prepping for 24hr race there in June.
Volkswagen, along with some other race teams, has reserved time on the track for a few days for some pre-season practice for the Golf24.
The Golf24 is an endurance touring car based on the Golf VI with permanent all-wheel drive and a 2.5 liter turbocharged 5-cylinder power plant with an output of 440 PS (324 kW). It's 0 to 100 km/h sprint time is said to be 3.8 seconds.
The 24hr endurance race at the Nürburgring-Nordschleife takes place from June 23 to June 26 where the Golf24 will be competing.
